Hurricane Milton caused significant damage, and this is a trying and stressful time for our entire community. We know that being without electricity makes it more difficult, and we’re committed to restoring it as quickly and safely as we can. More than 6,000 utility workers are dedicated to Tampa Electric’s restoration, working around the clock to assess damage to our system and restore power. As we complete damage assessment, we will be able to provide a timeframe in which we expect to restore power to the majority of customers who can safely receive it.
