NEW SCAM ALERT: Tampa Electric Impersonation

We’re receiving reports of suspicious phone calls using the Tampa Electric name without our permission, promoting a so-called “flat rate” or “special rate.” These calls can sound convincing—but they are NOT from Tampa Electric. Be on the lookout for scammers! Some are falsely claiming to represent Tampa Electric or claiming we endorse their products. We do not conduct door-to-door sales or cold-call customers with deals or incentives.
